Introducing the Bean Burrito Blog

Welcome to the Bean Burrito Blog, this is a new section of the website where the team at Bean Burrito is able to share their thoughts with everyone!

The blog website was created in around 3 hours using a new javascript framework that I'm not yet familiar with, so things on this website are going to be pretty janky for now.

Over the past 2 days, I've been trying to rewrite some sections of the Bean Burrito Website to run on older versions of web browsers and I think I've managed to do a pretty good job on that. I've been procrastinating on this instead of rewriting BurritoTube and Africa2 lmao.

Here's the blog site running on a 2009 version of Google Chrome

You can even navigate through the blog and archive websites with the Windows 98 default web browser if you really wanted to. (Though I'm not sure why you would want to do that)

I still need to add implementation for things such as liking and commenting on posts (As you can tell by the comment section); I have everything set up in the database, it's just a matter of implementing the backend api and making sure people can't spam the fuck out of the comment box.

I'm not sure how much use the rest of the Bean Burrito Team will get out of this section of the website, I might use it to nerd out on some random thing that I learnt that day until I get my personal website setup.
